ADAM DORN

FOUNDER, EXECUTIVE & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR OF AHWH

Violinist Adam Dorn serves as the Founder and Artistic & Executive Director of At Home With Haydn. Originally from St. Paul, MN, Adam has performed extensively across the country as a solo, chamber and orchestral musician. In addition to performing with the AHWH quartet, Adam serves as the Associate Concertmaster with the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra and regularly serves as an artist in residence at the Caroga Lake Music Festival.

Adam graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he served as violinist in the Perlman Scholarship Piano Trio and studied under Professors Soh-Hyun Park Altino and Parry Karp. Previous mentors include Felicia Moye, Eugene Purdue, Leslie Shank, and Young-Nam Kim along with members of the Arianna Quartet, The Shanghai Quartet, Brooklyn Rider and the American String Quartet. Throughout his career Adam has performed at internationally renowned music festivals such as the Bowdoin Music Festival, Caroga Lake Music Festival, and Madeline Island Chamber Music Festival (Quartet Fellowship Program) and has made guest appearances with the Chamber Music Society of MN and the Schubert Club. 

After graduating from UW-Madison, Adam pursued graduate studies in music at DePaul University under the tutelage of Professor Janet Sung before returning to the Twin Cities to pursue a career in real estate. Adam currently enjoys pursuing both his passion for real estate and his passion for music through working as a realtor with The Dorn Group, RE/MAX Results and performing regularly in chamber and orchestral groups throughout the US.
